I checked, he's okay
Yesterday my sister called me to tell me that Michael Jackson had died.
She then asked me if anyone had told my son Ed. I told her I'd IM him and let him know.

You see, a few years ago, Ed came up to me and asked me very seriously what he should do if he saw Michael Jackson walking up to him on the road. He asked if he should find an adult or call the police or run. He was very afraid of him.

I assured him that there was very little chance of Michael Jackson showing up in Shreveport, and that if he DID see him, he would be safe and he could just come inside. (The only place he ever went without me was in the front yard. Shreveport is dead boring)

Ed says he remembers being scared of him, and that he's doing okay.
