Days spent dreading work because it meant time apart.
Finally, evening comes and he is reunited with his beloved again. Dinners spent in anticipation of the night to come. Knowing glances over glasses of wine, brief touches as conversation ebbs and flows.
Warm nights spent in a tangle of limbs, mouths searching, hands finding, breathing in the scent of each other, bodies grinding together in a slow delicious friction that leads to sweet release.
Falling asleep, to dream of each other.
Others envied what they had.
